Centennial Boulevard Road Diet Study – Burch analyzed the feasibility of converting Centennial Blvd., located in a high-growth west Nashville neighborhood, from a 4-lane to a 3-lane cross section. As a companion to many other efforts, the study analyzed the impacts of this road diet on key intersections on the corridor under existing and projected traffic conditions. It also documented the safety benefits and the improved multimodal accessibility that could be realized for all roadway users with the reconfigured design.
