Legacy at Golden Bear –Burch evaluated the traffic impacts of the first phase of an 85-acre mixed-use development in Mt. Juliet, north of the I-40 and Golden Bear Gateway interchange. The analysis of seven intersections, including two interchange ramps, resulted in capacity improvements to existing intersections, access management for new roadway connections to the state route, desired cross sections for internal roadways, traffic control for new intersections, multimodal facilities throughout the site, and consideration for future capacity needs with additional phases of the development.
